Pregnancy and excessive
vomiting
|
Nausea and vomiting are
mild to moderate common in early
pregnancy in more than half of women.
This problem is usually self-limiting,
disappearing at 16 weeks of gestation.
In a small percentage of patients,
nausea and vomiting are more severe and
prolonged. When the disturbance becomes
severe enough to lead to dehydration is
emitted diagnosis of hyperemesis
gravidarum, and this occurs more
frequently in women with molar pregnancy

differential diagnosis of any disease
that may present with these symptoms .
Ultrasound is useful for determining the
presence of a molar pregnancy or
multiple.
